Fitness Benefits of Different Physical Activities

When selecting a physical activity, you can choose which aspect of your health and fitness to work upon either weight loss, increase stamina, improve flexibility, or develop strength.
Below is a table showing the fitness benefits of some physical activity and the amount of calories burned per 30 minute of execution.
One X indicates a small benefit and four X indicates a major benefit.

Interestingly, swimming activity gives the most benefit for improving stamina, strength and flexibility. Yoga and aqua aerobics are beneficial for flexibility while aerobics, cycling, and jogging can greatly improve stamina.
